Meta-altar is a search for sacredness and the sublime
in the photographic image, its reproduction and its potential aura.
The entire body of work, consisting of both text and image,
presents open questions on the auspiciousness of matter,
by juxtaposing elements of art, nature, religion and technology.
It looks for answers to these questions in existing artwork, the artist,
non-secular material altars, as well as bare nature.
Meta-altar, as a whole, explores a correlation between poetry, metaphysics,
aesthetic expression, and a symbolism of the subconscious.
